3. Use and Processing of Data
When you visit our website, our web servers temporarily store each visit in a log file. The following data is collected and stored until it is automatically deleted:
– IP address of the requesting computer
– Date and time of access
– Name and URL of the file accessed
– Amount of data transferred
– Indication of whether the request was successful
– Identification data of the browser and operating system used
– Website from which access occurred
– Name of your Internet service provider
Server log files are processed for the purpose of enabling website use (establishing a connection), ensuring system security, performing technical administration of the network infrastructure, and optimizing the website. The IP address is only analyzed in the event of attacks on our network infrastructure or that of our internet service provider.
The contact information you provide is processed exclusively to respond to your inquiries. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
Data collected when you contact us (e.g., via the contact form or email) will be deleted after your inquiry has been fully processed, provided you request this and no legal retention obligations prevent such deletion.
Unless otherwise specified in this privacy notice, your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties unless you have expressly consented to such disclosure or we are required to disclose it, for example, pursuant to a court order or an order from a government authority.
We have implemented technical and organizational measures to ensure that the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are observed both by us and by external service providers working on our behalf.
When we collaborate with other companies, such as email and server providers, to provide our services, this is done only following a comprehensive selection process. During this selection process, each individual service provider is carefully selected based on their suitability in terms of technical and organizational capabilities regarding data protection.
This selection process is documented in writing, and a contract for the processing of data on behalf of the controller (DPO contract) is only concluded if it meets the requirements of Article 28 of the GDPR.
Your information is stored on specially protected servers. Access to this data is restricted to a few specially authorized individuals.
4. Google Analytics
To optimize the usefulness of this website for you, we use the Google Analytics analysis tool. This is a standard analysis tool provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics. For the analysis, Google uses so-called “cookies,” through which it collects information about your user behavior and evaluates it accordingly.
Your data is evaluated anonymously. The Google tracking code has been implemented on our websites in such a way that Google always truncates the last digits of your IP address before the analysis takes place. This IP anonymization occurs shortly after the user’s IP address is sent to the Analytics data collection network for recording. In this case, the full IP address is therefore never written to the hard drive. The truncation generally takes place on servers located within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is then transmitted to a Google server in the U.S. only after anonymization and stored there. Consequently, it is generally no longer possible to trace this information back to you personally or to merge this data with other information Google already holds about you.
The collection, anonymization, and analysis of user data are carried out by Google on behalf of the website operator (see Legal Notice).
You have the option to restrict or completely prevent the use of cookies via your browser settings. However, preventing cookies may result in the inability to use all features of this website.
You also have the option to prevent the collection of your user data and the analysis of your user behavior by Google Analytics by downloading and installing the browser plugin specifically developed by Google and available at the following link:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

5. Use of External Service Providers
To provide our services, we rely on the support of service providers from third countries. To ensure the protection of your personal data in this case as well, we enter into special data processing agreements in accordance with Art. 28 of the GDPR with each carefully selected service provider.
6. Use of Cookies
In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete these cookies at any time in your browser’s security settings. Please note that you may not be able to use all features of this website.

In this case, however, you will not be able to use the map display.
For information on the purpose and scope of data collection, as well as the further processing and use of the data by Google, and your rights and settings options regarding the protection of your privacy, please refer to Google’s privacy policy. By using our website, you consent to the processing of the data collected about you by Google Maps Route Planner in the manner described above and for the purpose stated above.
